With flu season upon us the best thing I have in my arsenal of essential oil rollers is my Immunity Booster roller bottle. With the wacky weather we have been having here, one day the high’s are in the 70’s and the next day the high’s are in the 30’s, I want to make sure my immune system is at the top of it’s game. I’ve made this recipe every since I started using essential oils to help boost my families immune system.
The best thing I have found to help support my immune system is my essential oils. I have two ways I use my Immunity Booster: a roller or an inhaler. I love the inhaler when I am out and about. It’s so simple to keep in my pocket or purse and easy to use.
Therapeutic-Grade Essential Oils
Now days, you can purchase essential oils at WalMart, your local grocery stores, health food stores, drug stores, eBay, Amazon, and the list goes on and on. But, are they pure and 100 therapeutic grade? I did my research before deciding on Young Living essential oils and found a lot of these oils are not 100% essential oils. If the plants used to make the essential oils are exposed to toxins and/or pesticides it degrades their therapeutic quality. Even if the plants are organic, they may be processed with chemical solvents which degrades their therapeutic quality or even if they are combined with synthetic fragrances it degrades their therapeutic quality.
The FDA does not require essential oils purchased in stores to include the ingredients on their labels and the term “natural” or “pure” is not regulated by any governing body. This means essential oils purchased in stores might say “natural” or “pure” and may still have synthetic additives in them. These store bought essential oils might say on the label, “do not ingest“, this is usually an indication to you that it is not “pure” essential oils.
Young Living’s Vitality Essential Oil line is the one of the few Essential Oils that are cleared by the FDA as dietary supplements. This means the FDA regulates and requires Young Living to disclose “all” ingredients on the label, which is always unadulterated oils. Young Living goes to great lengths to test and guarantee its oil strength and purity. They grow their own plants they use for their oils in virgin soil that has never had any kind of pesticide or toxin in the soil. You can even visit any of their farms at anytime all over the world.
